Do you recommend getting tickets for the walking tours for the summer months, July. I will be arriving by ship for one day. Also, it’s my understanding it is no more than a 15 minute walk from any tender. Is that correct? I am coming on 13 July, on Princess. Thanks

I would advice getting tickets, its a great way to see St Peter Port and I would agree with the 15 minutes comment. The weather should be good too. Its a good walk but not too far. It took about an hour and a half, somthing like that. Perfect to work up an appetite.

The Town Walks are daily from 1st April to 31st October. 10.30am daily (also on a Tuesday and Thursday 2.30pm) £8 pp- booking not required. Walks lasts approx. 1.5 hours Meet at the Guernsey Information Centre. For cruise ship passenger It is a 5 minute stroll from the Albert Pier where the tender drops you off. Get the tender early to avoid peak times or delays. Come rain or shine the walk will be on.
