This was a day trip from Columbus for us. It is about an hour away. Paid the 10$ to park which helps them keep up the nature preserve since it does not get any tax money. We chose to to the The Gro… Full review by Holly H

We were told that the park has recently reopened. Nice facilities including their restrooms. While visiting the park may sure you stop and admire the Yellow Spring Falls. Full review by Greg B

We will only be in the area for one day - so if you had to choose between Clifton Gorge and Glen Helen which would you recommend? We will have 2 children with us as well, 8 & 4 so wondering if either place has locations to play in the waters/streams? Thanks so much for any advice!

I agree with the other answers, you need to go to Yellow Springs org and check out what there is to do and the sites. I lived up just outside of the village for years. You need to go to Clifton Mill, check out one of the few remaining operating grist mills in the USA. There is a covered bridge and since it is a water powered mill there is a waterfall there. There is a small restaurant and shop there also.I was back there for my 45th HS reunion and the raptor center had an annual releasing of the baby owls that they raised. John Bryan Park is a great park with trail access to the river below. Look out for deer that will allow you fairly close as you drive by, very quiet place.Google Yellow Springs and look things to do it has the links to everything about the village. FYI,the comedian Dave Chappell lives there.Enjoy!!
