Biron is a village in Wood County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 839 at the 2010 census. It is the site of ND Paper's Biron Mill. The first settlement in Biron was a sawmill that was built in 1839. Francis X. Biron, formerly of Quebec, purchased the mill in 1846. The village was platted in 1896 and incorporated in 1910.
