The open mound display has been covered by plywood. More Jack in the pulpit than I’ve ever seen. Invasive plants taking over. Typical mounds as seen in other areas of the Midwest.Full review by Sadie M

There is no interpretive center here. There is no one around to answer questions. But there is a good map and an information board explaining the mounds. The “mound trail” is very short and if you walked it without stopping to look at the mounds, you could probably finish it in five minutes. The “nature trail” is a loop about five times longer and goes down a moderate hill to the creek.
