Attended a performance of "Emma". It was excellent and a real highlight of our stay in Dublin. The theatre itself is a revelation. Enjoyed our evening and bar experience. Full review by tgjps

Is it possible to see the theater while I'm in Dublin? Unfortunately, the back stage tours are sold out during my trip. I wondered if there was an opportunity to see the theater perhaps without a back stage tour? I'm not certain if my group is up for a show, but that is still a possibility.

Hi, I'm pretty sure that you can go into the foyer and bar areas of the theatre but, during performance times, you will probably need a ticket. Perhaps if you called in to the box office during the day (check times), staff may allow you to have a look at the auditorium as well. If you can persuade your group to see a performance, it'll be worth it! Ticket prices are fairly reasonable too - certainly compared to London, where I live.
Hi is 2nd row too close , doing a group booking and grip what to keep ticket price down

In my opinion with a group you need to be at least 6 rows back from the stage otherwise you will get a crick in your neck. I usually try for 8 rows back or further if I have the money.
Sorry Julia, I don't know. I'm just a punter who reviewed a play. Perhaps their own website will have the listing. The Theatre Festival is around that time. Paul
